Kamal Nath Retains Chhindwara, Narottam Mishra Loses Datia Seat

The BJP recorded their second-biggest win in Madya Pradesh by bagging a staggering 163 of 230 seats. The party's biggest-ever win came in 2003 when the saffron party won 173 seats.


The BJP, whose campaign was spearheaded by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Minister Jyotiradtiya Scindia, handed a resounded defeat to Congress.

MP Election Results Winners Live: 1st Win In State, BJP's Manju Rajendra Dadu Gets Victory In Nepanagar

BJP leader Manju Rajendra Dadu has won from the Nepanagar seat as the first result came from Madhya Pradesh. Dadu defeated Congress's Gendu Bai by a margin of 44805 votes.

MP Election Results Winners Full List: Hello and welcome to the live blog of ABP Live. Please follow this space for the latest updates on winning candidates in the Madhya Pradesh elections. 


The Election Commission has begun counting votes for the Madya Pradesh assembly elections and the fate of thousands of candidates in the state will be decided as the day progresses. While BJP and Congress will be holding their breath for results on every seat -- some key constituencies are also a matter of prestige for both parties. 


In this live blog, we will give a seat-by-seat update of the winning candidate as the counting proceeds throughout the day. Another reason for looking at some of the 230 seats in MP is that the parties faced issues while distributing tickets and the day will show if the calls made by the high command were right on the mark.


Budhni is Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's seat, which he has been representing since 2006, and will remain a crucial seat this time as well. 


Former MP CM Kamal Nath's home turf Chhindwara is another important constituency. He has been a nine-time Congress MP from here and won his maiden assembly polls in May 2019 after becoming CM in December 2018. Dimni is another key seat from where the BJP has fielded sitting MP and Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar. Currently, Congress's Ravindra Singh Tomar Bhidosa is MLA from here. 


Another seat where the BJP has announced a Union Minister and strong OBC leader for contesting polls is Narsinghpur. Prahlad Singh Patel will represent the BJP here. Niwas, Indore-1, Datia are some other constituencies where BJP has fielded key party leaders. Similarly, Congress bastion Lahar will also be in the eye of the electoral battle this time.


Other important seats include Harsud, Sanwer, Sanchi, Gwalior, Surkhi, Badnawar, Bamori and Raghogarh among others.
