Indore: A sudden cardiac arrest claimed lives of three polling booth officers who were on duty in Indore and Guna. Two election commission officials died in Indore while one passed away in Guna, reports said.
In the visuals available to ABP News, a female officer in an unconscious state is being seen escorted by her colleagues at a voting station. All the three deaths took place during the first two hours of polling.
Election Commission confirmed the news of the deaths caused due to heart attack.
Voting is underway in Madhya Pradesh to elect new assemblies. The state has 230 seats. Counting votes will be held on December 11.
