The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday released a list of 17 probable ministers who are likely to be inducted in the Mahayuti government.


While BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis is expected to lead as the chief minister, the Mahayuti cabinet list features the names of Ashish Shelar, Girish Mahajan, Rahul Narvekar and Nitesh Rane.


The list of BJP ministers from the Konkan Region include: Ravindra Chavan, Nitesh Rane and Ganesh Naik. BJP MLAs Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Ashish Shelar, Rahul Narvekar and Atul Bhatkhalkar are likely to be inducted from the Mumbai region. However, sources told ABP News that if Mangal Prabhat Lodha is selected, then Rahul Narvekar may not be included in the state cabinet.

From the Western Maharashtra, prominent leaders, including Shivendrasinhraje Bhosale, Gopichand Padalkar, Madhuri Misal and Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil are likely to be inducted. Moreover, Chandrashekhar Bawankule and Sanjay Kute will be added from the Vidarbha region.






From North Maharashtra, Girish Mahajan and Jaykumar Rawal are set to join the cabinet, while Pankaja Munde and Atul Save from Marathwada are likely to be appointed as cabinet ministers.


Meanwhile, seven ministers from the Shiv Sena are also likely to be inducted in the Maharashtra cabinet. Apart from Eknath Shinde, Shiv Sena leaders, including Dada Bhuse, Shambhuraj Desai, Gulabrao Patil, Arjun Khotkar, Sanjay Rathod and Uday Samant are likely to be inducted in the Mahayuti cabinet.


The announcement of the probable names in the Maharashtra cabinet comes as the Shiv Sena and the BJP have entered the final stages of discussions. Following initial conversations with Eknath Shinde in Delhi last week, regarding cabinet portfolio allocation and the Chief Minister's post, talks at the state level within the Mahayuti alliance have resumed.

Shiv Sena leader Uday Samant is set to meet BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis to present proposals regarding the oath-taking ceremony and portfolio allocation. 


Earlier, sources said that Ajit Pawar-led NCP had put forth a list of demands for the new cabinet, which includes 11 names from the NCP for the Mahayuti cabinet. 



Ajit Pawar is expected to continue as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, with several other senior NCP leaders likely to secure ministerial positions. These include Aditi Tatkare, Chhagan Bhujbal, Dhananjay Munde, Anil Bhaidas Patil, Sanjay Bansode, and Narhari Zirwal. Additionally, new faces such as former mayor Sangram Jagtap and MLAs Indranil Naik and Sunil Shelke are also likely to be inducted into the cabinet.
