Every year on December 3rd, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) is observed to promote the rights and well-being of people with disabilities and raise awareness about their challenges across political, social, economic, and cultural aspects of life.

Bollywood, over the years, has played a significant role in portraying characters with disabilities, shedding light on their struggles and inspiring audiences through powerful storytelling.
