The recent "infiltartors" remarks by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during an election rally in Rajasthan on Sunday resulted in two complaints being filed against him, calling for the suspension of his election campaign and one for his arrest. Commenting on the complaints filed against the PM to the Election Commission, Congress leader Pramod Tiwari hit out at PM Modi, criticising him for the content he uses in his election speeches.
PM Modi on Monday said that the Congress would snatch the 'streedhan' and 'mangalsutra' of women and distribute them among others if it comes to power.
Tiwari challenged the prime minister to substantiate his claims about the Congress party's manifesto saying, “In the speech that he (PM Modi) gave in Rajasthan, he used such words which aren’t in our ‘ghosna patra’. I challenge him to show the page and the line. I will only say that whatever he has said comes under hate speech.”

The complaints were filed by Azad Adhikar Sena, a regional political party and a local non-profit organisation.
Tiwari launched scatching attacks at the PM saying that the PM "forgets the dignity of his position and whatever he says in his speech during the elections, is an insuly to the former Prime Minister, the Prime Ministerial post and the Constitution," news agency ANI quoted him as saying.
The Congress leader also claimed that the PM was panicking since he was defeated in the first round and was falling behind.
"After being badly beaten in the first round and falling far behind, the Prime Minister is panicking, which is evident. He should accept my challenge; otherwise, he should apologise to the country or the country's voters should punish him for lying," Tiwari told ANI.
PM Modi on Monday said that the Congress would snatch the 'streedhan' and 'mangalsutra' of women and distribute them among others if it comes to power.
He also clarified his prior claims, where he referred to former PM Manmohan Singh's speech where he had said that the grand old party wanted to snatch the people's property and distribute it among Muslims.
