With the counting of votes underway in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the early trends suggest that the BJP-led NDA has crossed the 200 mark leading with 233 seats while the opposition-led I.N.D.I.A bloc is trailing with 114 seats.

The voting in the Lok Sabha elections were held across seven phases, beginning from April 19 to June 1. The fate of the world's largest democracy will be announced on Tuesday. The nation awaits with baited breath to witness who their leaders will be for the next five years.

As suggested by various exit polls on June 1, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance is all set to retain its power at the Centre with a thumping victory.

According to the ABP-CVoter survey, the BJP-led alliance is set to win 353 to 383 seats of the total 543 Lok Sabha seats.

The BJP alone is projected to win 315 seats, which is greater than its 2019 tally of 303 seats.

The I.N.D.I.A bloc, as per the ABP- CVoter exit poll seems to have fallen behind despite its intense campaigning and united efforts to end the NDA's juggernaut.

Some of the key states where BJP-led alliance will likely record a thumping victory include Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Uttarkhand, and Himachal Pradesh.

The opposition alliance on the other hand is projected to secure 152 to 182 seats for the I.N.D.I.A bloc, according to the ABP-CVoter exit polls. The exit polls have have projected a massive win for the INDI alliance in Punjab, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.

The states witnessing neck and neck battle between NDA and I.N.D.I.A bloc Maharashtra, Delhi, Telangana, and Haryana.

Mamata Banerjee and Jagan Mohan Reddy who contested independently in the polls, might also fail to secure their strongholds, as the exit polls show West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh slanting towards NDA.

After the annoucnement of the exit polls, the I.N.D.I.A bloc "rejected" them saying that they are an "orchestrated plan" and added they will win at least 295 seats. Congress leader Sonia Gandhi also claimed that the actual Lok Sabha elections results will be "completely opposite" to the exit polls.

The exit poll results clearly indicate that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA will continue to dominate the country and Modi 3.0 government will be made.
