Former Congress leader Radhika Khera made big allegations against the party's Chhattisgarh unit leaders on Monday, a day after quitting the grand old party. She alleged that the media chairman of Chhattisgarh Congress, Sushil Anand Shukla misbehaved and abused her.

When she warned that she had taken out her phone and was recording him, Shukla made a gesture and two more people closed the door from inside, she alleged further as her voice cracked.

"The room remained locked for about a minute and I was abused. All three men got up and came towards me. I kept screaming but no one tried to open the door...I pushed the door very hard and opened it and went to the room of the State General Secretary but he kept sitting with his shoes off," she added.

"No one stood up, no one called that man, no one asked what happened..." Radhika said wiping off her tears.

Furthermore, she charged that Shukla offered her alcohol during Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra and that he along with 5-6 party workers used to knock on the door of her room in an inebriated condition.

"I informed Sachin Pilot, and Jairam Ramesh but nothing happened. I later understood that I was ignored because I did not follow the anti-Hindu ideology of the party...," she said.
