Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Amravati, Navneet Ravi Rana on Wednesday launched an attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi alleging that if the grand old party came to power, it would conduct a survey of common people's property and will distribute it among other people.

The BJP leader remarked ahead of Rahul Gandhi's visit to the Amravati Lok Sabha constituency where he will address a poll rally and campaign for the Congress candidate from Amravati, Balwant Baswant Wankhade, the incumbent Daryaganj MLA.

"In a way, Rahul Gandhi is saying that women's gold will be weighed and measured, common people's property will also be calculated and if it is too much then it will be distributed among other people," Rana said while speaking to the news agency ANI.

"This new custom is coming into our country," she said, adding, "Congress people are attempting to finish off the Consitution as if ordinary people's lifetime wealth which they have earned through hard work will be distributed among others, then I believe in a way, they presenting all these things there will be dictatorship by Congress and Rahul Gandhi..."
