Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini held his maiden road show on Tuesday in Ambala for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024. Saini's road show from Panchkula to Karnal via Ambala and Kurukshetra came ahead of the poll campaign to be kickstarted in the state by BJP president JP Nadda from Karnal's Gharaunda.

Meeting and greeting the party workers and people en route before reaching Gharaunda to join the rally, Saini appealed to vote for NDA candidate Banto Kataria.

"I want to thank all our party workers in Ambala and I appeal to you to give your votes to our candidate Banto Kataria," he said.

"Today, our party president JP Nadda will begin the election campaign. We have to bring PM Modi back to power by winning all 10 seats in the state...," he added.

The BJP national president would also hold a meeting of five coordination committees for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in Karal to finalise the strategy, reported The Times of India quoting a party spokesperson as saying.

The party workers will welcome BJP senior leaders at thirteen spots between Samana Bahu and Gharaunda in Karnal and the party top brass will also attend a public meeting in Anaaj Mandi in Gharaunda, the TOI report added.

Former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and MLA from Karnal constituency, who has also been fielded from the same seat for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls will visit the constituency for the first time after his resignation from the CM post.
