Haryana Assembly Elections: Incumbent CM Nayab Singh Saini is leading from his Ladwa seat as per the early trends of counting for the Haryana assembly election. Nayab Singh Saini went up against the Congress's Mewa Singh.

Nayab Singh Saini's lead comes as a feeble hope for the BJP which was trailing in double digits in the early trends.

The Haryana elections were held in all 90 constituencies of the state and recorded a 67.9% turnout of the total eligible 2,03,00,255 voters.

The BJP had emerged as the single-largest party but fell short of the majority by 6 seats. It managed to form the government with its 40 MLAs and the JJP's 10. Manohar Lal Khattar was sworn in as the CM, while the Bhupinder Singh Hooda-led Congress sat in the Opposition.
