Karnataka Elections 2023: Campaignings are in full swing in the state for the upcoming assembly polls with every party leaving no stone unturned to woo the voters. The state has now become a matter of dignity for the contesting parties. In the same direction, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday campaigned in Chikodi in Karnataka's Belagavi district where he said that Rahul Gandhi's mental age is similar to that of a 5-year-old child.
The CM launched an attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for holding PM Narendra Modi responsible for his disqualification as Lok Saba MP last month. Shivraj said that Gandhi is a 50-year-old man but his mental age is just five. Singh said that Rahul Gandhi doesn't know 'what to speak'
"He (Rahul Gandhi) is 50 years old but his mental age is 5...when the court sentenced him, he blaming PM Modi for it. He doesn't know what to speak...is he capable of giving promises?"CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said.

Singh also took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi saying that the latter is fulfilling Mahatma Gandhi's wish of 'finishing Congress'.
He said, "Mahatma Gandhi said after independence that now Congress should be nullified as it was made for the purposed of independence only. However, Pt. Nehru did not agree with him. But Rahul Gandhi seems to be fulfilling his wish of finishing the Congress."
Both Congress and BJP have fielded their star campaigners to do the duty they own to their respective parties as the state prepares to go to polls on May 10. The counting of votes will take place on May 13.
