Lok Sabha Election 2024 Result: Actor Kangana Ranaut, who contested on BJP ticket, has won from Mandi constituency, Himachal Pradesh. Ranaut clinched a landslide victory in Mandi as BJP candidate. The actor-turned-politician defeated her closest rival, Vikramaditya Singh who contested on Congress ticket, by a huge margin of 72,088 votes.
Ranaut expressed her strong dedication to the region and was quoted as saying by news agency ANI: "Mandi has not taken kindly to the insults for daughters.”

“As far as my departure to Mumbai is concerned, this (Himachal Pradesh) is my ‘janmabhoomi’ and I will continue to serve people here. So, I am not going anywhere. Perhaps, someone else will have to pack their bags and leave," she added, as per ANI.
Ranaut, BJP's candidate from the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh, attributed the party's election success to the credibility and assurance provided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
As quoted by ANI, addressing the media, Ranaut said, “We fought this election in the name of Narendra Modi. It is the result of his credibility and his guarantee and the faith of people in him that we are going to form the government for the third time..."
The Mandi election was highly anticipated, showcasing a battle between two prominent candidates: Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut and Vikramaditya Singh.
