Firing another salvo at Congress’s Vikramaditya Singh, BJP’s Kangana Ranaut alleged that ‘Prince’ lacks respect for women. Her statement came while she was delivering a speech in Karsog’s Tattapani. Addressing a public gathering, actor-turned-politician said that Vikramaditya did not treat his wife well. Kangana is the BJP's candidate from the Mandi parliamentary constituency against Congress's Vikramaditya Singh.

“He did not treat his wife well, and it has been learnt that he tortured her a lot,” Kangana remarked, adding, “It saddens me that the prince (Vikramaditya Singh) did not treat his wife well. Maybe they do not know how to respect women. His wife says that she was harassed in many ways”.

Ranaut also criticised Singh’s mother, Pratibha Singh, stating, “His mother Pratibha Singh, whom I consider as my mother, despite being a woman, her thinking towards women is not right”.

She continued, “I am a girl from an ordinary family and I have also played in these streets in Himachal. People come to see the daughter of Himachal. Many people have not even seen my films and still they come”.

“The entire country wants to see Narendra Modi as Prime Minister for the third time. Wherever I go, people’s enthusiasm is visible, and people are fed up with the ‘jhoothi’ Sukhu government of the state, and want a BJP government. Now even Congress leaders have realised that the public is not with them,” Kangana said.

Earlier on Wednesday, Kangana attacked her opponent saying that the way he called her "impure" if Virbhadra Singh was alive today, he would have felt very sad about it. “Virbhadra Singh would have scolded his son (Vikramaditya Singh) as to why he was insulting his own daughter from Himachal by speaking like this,” she said.
