Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is set to intensify his election campaign with 'Memanta Siddham' Yatra, commencing from Idupulapaya, Kadapa District on March 27. The strategic move follows the resounding success of the regional "Siddham Sabha," now transitioning into a statewide movement.

The yatra also gains significance since Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will start the yatra by paying homage to his father, former Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy at YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya, slated for 1:00 PM on Wednesday. The journey will officially commence at 1:30 PM as the CM embarks on a bus tour.

Spanning through pivotal locations such as Kumarunipalli, Vempalli, Sarvarajupeta, VN Palli (Kamalapuram), Gangireddypalli, Urutur, Yerraguntla (Jammalamadugu), and Potladurthi, the yatra will engage with diverse communities along its route.

The highlight of the yatra will be a public gathering scheduled at 4:30 PM on the Proddutur bypass road, featuring an address by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Following this, the yatra will progress towards the night camp located on the Allagadda bypass road of Nandyala district, traversing through Sunnapurallapalli, Duvvur, Jillela, Nagalapadu, Bodhanam, Rampalle Cross, and Chagalamarri.

In Andhra Pradesh, Lok Sabha Election and Assembly Elections will be held simultaneously. The Opposition TDP is set to face the election in alliance with BJP and Pawan Kalyan's Janasena Party.  The Congress is also spearheaded by Jagan's sister YS Sharmila, who currently serves as Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president.

However, YSRCP has decided to face the elections alone. The YSRCP has finalized its candidate selection for all 25 Lok Sabha constituencies in Andhra Pradesh. Prominent figures among the announced candidates include YSRCP parliamentary party leader V. Vijaya Sai Reddy, who will vie for the Lok Sabha seat from Nellore. Kesineni Srinivas (Nani), a former TDP Lok Sabha member from Vijayawada, has also been nominated by the YSRCP to contest for the same constituency. Furthermore, former minister P. Anil Kumar Yadav is set to compete for the Narasaraopet Lok Sabha seat under the YSRCP banner.
