New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hold a mega roadshow for three hours covering 28km across five constituencies in Ahmedabad on Thursday.
Although, the election campaign for the first phase has come to an end, with the state going to polls on Thursday, campaigning for the second phase, on December 5, is going on in full swing. As part of the campaigning for the second phase, PM Modi will hold three rallies in poll-bound Gujarat on Thursday.
PM will start from Kalol in Panchmahal district of North Gujarat and will address a public meeting in Vejalpur village. The second poll rally will be held at Bodeli in Chhota Udaipur. The third public meeting will be held at Himmatnagar in Sabarkantha district in the afternoon.
The next day PM Modi has four rallies — starting with Kanakraj, then Patan and Sojitra, and finally Ahmedabad.
It is to be noted that PM Modi had started the election campaign by visiting Somnath on November 20, and also came to the state for a number of government events ahead of the poll date announcement.
Notably, voting for the first phase is to be held in Gujarat on Thursday.

In the first phase, out of 182 seats in Gujarat, voting is to be held on 89 seats. In the first phase, voting will be held on 54 seats in Saurashtra and 35 seats in South Gujarat.
After this, on December 5 in the second phase, voting will be held on 93 seats.
Notably, the Gujarat election results will be released on December 8 along with the Himachal Pradesh election results.
The Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh were held on November 12.
