Patna: An FIR has been lodged against BJP's Union Minister Ashwini Choubey and 149 others for violating election commission's model code of conduct ahead of the Lok Sabha polls. The FIR was registered against Choubey after he got into a verbal altercation with a government official.

A video has gone viral on media capturing Union minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey misbehaving with a Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Bihar’s Buxar after the official stopped his convoy for allegedly violating the model code of conduct on Saturday.

In the video shared by news agency ANI, the Union minister can be seen having a verbal altercation with KK Upadhyay who tries to explain to him about the election commission’s order.

In this video it can be seen that Choubey was sitting on the front seat of a vehicle and can be seen furiously reacting to the official who attempts to apprise the Union Minister about election commissions order. “What's the issue? Who's order is it. Send me to jail if you have to do something. This is my vehicle and you cannot seize it,”
