Fact
Newschecker first ran a keyword search for “Deepak Parekh HDFC BJP manifesto”, which did not yield any recent news reports about the veteran banker talking about the BJP manifesto, “Sankalp Patra”, which was released on April 14.
We then ran a reverse image search of the newspaper clipping, which led us to this tweet by BJP’s IT Cell head Amit Malviya, dated April 8, 2014, indicating that this quote was made amid the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Similar posts, featuring the viral newspaper clipping, can be seen here and here, confirming that the quote is from 2014, while mentioning the source to be Times of India.

A relevant keyword search led us to this TOI column by Parekh, dated April 10, 2014, where you can clearly see that the viral quote summarises the column, further confirming that the newspaper clipping was about the BJP manifesto released ahead of the 2014 elections.
