The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced that its national president JP Nadda will be visiting Belagavi in Karnataka from Monday to engage in various public and organisational activities.


Nadda is slated to arrive at Sambra Airport, Belagavi in Karnataka for a two-day visit on Monday at 08:30 pm.


According to the PTI, Upon his arrival, Nadda will convene the core committee meeting of Chikodi, Belagavi, Bagalkot, and Vijayapura parliamentary constituencies at Kakati, Belagavi at 09:00 pm.


The BJP president is set to address the booth karyakarta sammelan at 11:15 am on Tuesday at Kiwad Ground, Chikodi. At 02:15 pm, Nadda will engage with beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana at the ITC Welcome Hotel in Belagavi.














Subsequently, he will have an interaction with intellectuals at Jirge Auditorium in Belagavi at 05:15 pm, as informed by the party, PTI reported.


BJP Release 195 Candidates List For LS Polls


The BJP unveiled its first list of 195 candidates for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections on Saturday, setting the pace ahead of its competitors. This year's Lok Sabha elections are scheduled for April and May.


The party has fielded PM Narendra Modi from Varanasi, UP, and Union Home Amit Shah from Gandhinagar, Gujarat, among candidates for 16 states and union territories.


According to the PTI, Before the official announcement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over a gathering of the BJP's Central Election Committee (CEC) at the party's headquarters in the capital city, which concluded early on Friday. Senior leaders of the saffron party, including party national president JP Nadda and Union ministers Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, were present at the meeting as the party aims to finalise its candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Also in attendance were Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, Madhya Pradesh's Mohan Yadav, Uttarakhand's Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Goa's Pramod Sawant. State leaders participate in the CEC meeting when discussions are held regarding candidates for constituencies within their respective states.


According to PTI, which cited party sources, the meeting extensively covered numerous seats that the party did not secure in the 2019 general elections.
