Telangana: A scuffle broke out between BRS and BJP workers in Nagarjuna Sagar, Nalgonda district, earlier today, ANI reported.
"Shivraj Singh, what have you given to the state? You have given inflation, deaths during Covid-19, unemployment, and liquor in every house, among many other things," said Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Kamal Nath at a rally in Morena earlier today. (PTI)

Election Commission issued a show-cause notice to Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra after BJP complained to EC that while addressing a public rally at Sanwer Assembly Constituency in Madhya Pradesh, "she made unverified and false statements in respect of PM Narendra Modi that have the potential to mislead the public and tarnish the image of PM."
EC asks her to explain the statement by 16th Nov, as to why appropriate action for violation of MCC as well as provisions of election and penal laws should not be taken against her."

BJP president J P Nadda will release the party's election manifesto for Rajasthan in Jaipur on Thursday. Senior BJP leader and Union minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said Nadda will release the party's 'Sankalp Patra' (manifesto) on Thursday at 11 am. The manifesto is based on the suggestions of more than one crore people through the party's outreach programmes like 'Akansha Peti,' e-mails and social media platforms, he said.Meghwal was speaking to media persons at the Kota airport on Tuesday morning before leaving for campaigning at Ramganj Mandi and Ladpura Assembly seats of the district. Congress leader Manish Tewari targeted the Bharat Rashtra Samithi government in Telangana saying that the KCR-led party failed to fulfil the dreams of people in the state in the last 9.5 years. "In the last 9.5 years, corruption happened in the name of development and the public did not get any relief. There will be a change in Telangana on 30th November and the Congress government will be formed here. BJP is out of the field and is fighting only symbolic fight. BRS is 'B' team of BJP," he said.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said there is no anti-incumbency wave in Rajasthan. "The government has done a good job. Seeing the atmosphere, I can say that the government will repeat... We have given good governance and provided water, electricity, education, health and road connectivity," he said.
"The law and order situation is better in Rajasthan...PM (Modi) said that the Congress government sympathizes with terrorists and will ruin the state. If our government supports terrorists, then why is the Center not dismissing our government? They have the authority to do so. There is no truth to these allegations and you are merely inciting people during elections," he added.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi while addressing a poll rally in Madhya Pradesh's Vidisha said, "I have visited Madhya Pradesh several times now. I can tell cent per cent that there will be a 'toofan' of Congress party here. You can write it down, people of Madhya Pradesh are going to give 145-150 seats to the Congress party."
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday said, "We have kept farmers, labourers and Adivasis at the centre of development in the state...People have faith in the schemes brought by Congress. We achieved a lot in various sectors in a short time. We will take forward the existing schemes and fulfill the guarantees announced in our poll manifesto."

Kamal Nath, Digvijay Singh and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra should reveal why the water from Gandhisagar Dam failed to reach the farms of Mandsaur. It is my 'sanklap' that no farm would be left without water in Mandsaur."

Congress President in Telangana and MP A Revanth Reddy on Monday took exception to BRS President and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's comments that Congress leaders are opposing pro-farmer schemes of his government. Congress party has a history of supporting farmers by introducing free electricity, he said. Revanth Reddy, who addressed poll campaign rallies in Kodangal constituency, alleged that the poor were not given double bedroom houses as promised by the BRS. BRS leaders had also assured that they would distribute three acres of land to Dalits and build colleges, he said, talking of allegedly unkept promises.
Revanth Reddy said leaders who have not fulfilled their promises in 10 years are asking people to make them win again. Rao has alleged that Congress leaders favoured giving farmers only three hours of power supply and that they saw 'Rythu Bandhu' investment support scheme for farmers as wasteful expenditure. (PTI)

On assembly elections, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan says, "There are clear indications of a change (in Govt) in Chhattisgarh. BJP is moving towards a massive victory in the 20 Assembly constituencies where elections took place recently. The current govt has cheated women in the state. Over 1 lakh women are missing. They did not fulfil their promises. Today, under the leadership of PM Modi, people have faith in the Modi guarantee...I am confident that the people of Chhattisgarh are going to bring BJP to power in the state..."
Urging the people of Chhattisgarh to not trust the incumbent Congress party, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the first phase of voting has burst the "balloon of lies" of the grand old party.
"Congratulations because the voting that took place in the first phase on November 7 has burst the balloon of lies of Congress. Today, the whole of Chhattisgarh is saying in one voice: - BJP will be back. November 7th and 17th together are ensuring the departure of 'Kakka', who holds 30 per cent of the Congress' share, from the government," PM Modi said addressing the election rally in Chhattisgarh's Mahasamund.

Ruling BRS MLA Guvvala Balaraju was allegedly attacked during a clash that broke out between workers of BRS and Congress in Achampet town of Nagarkurnool district, police said on Sunday, as reported by the news agency PTI. Balaraju, contesting from Achampet constituency in the November 30 assembly polls in the state "suffered injuries" in the "attack" that happened on Saturday night, a complaint from BRS said.

On Saturday, the Bharatiya Janata Party released its manifesto for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections in the presence of party president JP Nadda, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and BJP state unit chief VD Sharma. The manifesto released by the saffron party has several promises, including free education, subsidies for farmers, and cooking gas cylinders.
In the manifesto, the saffron party has promised to provide free education to girls from poor families up to post-graduation. The manifesto also promised procurement of wheat at Rs 2,700 and paddy at Rs 3,100 per quintal.
The Congress took a swipe on the BJP over its Madhya Pradesh manifesto and said that it is brimming with 'jumlas'. Congress leader Supriya Shrinate said, "Today, BJP released its manifesto for Madhya Pradesh Assembly polls which is brimming with 'jumlas'. It also indicated the departure of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan," as quoted by PTI.
On Friday, the Election Commission removed three poll observers from duty after misconduct and violation of the code of ethics. The action was taken against two general observers deployed in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh and an expenditure observer in Mizoram.
Meanwhile, in Telangana, a total of 4,798 candidates filed 5,716 sets of nominations for the 119 seats ahead of the November 30 polls. The process of filing nominations began on November 3 and November 10 was the last day for submitting nominations. As per the schedule, the nominations would be scrutinised on November 13 and November 15 is the last date for withdrawal of candidatures.
The maximum number of candidates were from Gajwel Assembly constituency. The constituency saw the maximum number of 145 candidates, who filed 154 sets of nominations. BRS president and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is seeking re-election from Gajwel and BJP leader Eatala Rajender is among those who filed their nominations from there.
