New Delhi: As the season of elections has begun in five key states, the political leaders are busy marking their presence in each significant region addressing rallies and attending events.
In such a scenario, here is a list of which leader is where today.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing one rally each in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur and Punjab’s Pathankot. The Jansabha in Pathankot will be held at 12 noon, and the one in Sitapur will be held at 3:50 PM.
UP CM Yogi Adityanath
On the other hand, UP CM Yogi Adityanath will visit Varanasi, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Lalitpur, and Jhansi. On the occasion of Ravidas Jayanti, he will also visit the Sant Ravidas temple in Seer Govardhanpur.
He will attend the Ravidas Jayanti program from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM. After that, he will hold a Jansabha in Hamirpur at 12:10 PM. At 2:30 PM he will hold the Jansabha in Mahoba for the Charkhari constituency seat.
At 4 PM in the evening, he will hold a Jansabha in Lalitpur. He will then go to Jhansi where a roadshow will be held at 5:20 PM. The roadshow will be from Madiya Mahadev temple to Sidhheshwar temple via the market.
Priyanka Gandhi & Rahul Gandhi
On the occasion of Ravidas Jayanti Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will visit Varanasi along with the party’s CM face for Punjab Charanjit Sinch Channi. These leaders will reach Varanasi at 10:20 AM at Babatpur Airport.
After that, they will go to the birthplace of Sant Ravidas, the Ravidas temple in Seer Govardhanpur via road. At the temple, they will pray and have a langar before leaving.
At 11:30 AM, they will reach Seer Govardhanpur to attend the Ravidas Jayanti event. Then, Priyanka Gandhi will participate in the campaigning in Kanpur. At 1 PM She will do a door-to-door campaign in Kanpur Cantt. And Kiwainagar.
At 3:30 PM, the door-to-door campaign will be held in Sisamau and Aryanagar. At 5:30 PM she will attend a Mahila Shakti Samvad in Govind Nagar.
SP’s Akhilesh Yadav
Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav will be holding meetings with the party workers the whole day. Yadav will be visiting Auraiya, Kanpur Dehat, Kannauj, and Farrukhabad.
At 11:40 AM, he will hold a meeting with party workers in Jhanda Maidan in Kakor, Auraiya, After that, he will meet the party workers at 12:35 PM in Nadipur, Kanpur Dehat.
At 1:40 PM, he will meet the party workers at Vidhuna in Auraiya, and at 2:25 PM at Annapurna Devi Maidan in Kannauj. From there, he will go to meet party workers in Kannauj’s Sikanderpur at 3:15 PM. At 4 PM, he will hold the meeting with party workers at the Maidan near Neem Karori Baba in Farrukhabad.
BSP’s Mayawati
Bahujan Samaj Party Supremo Mayawati will address a Jansabha in Lucknow today. This rally will take place at Kanshiram Sanskritik Sthal at 2 PM.
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Kanpur and Lucknow today to address rallies. At 12:25 PM, he will address a rally at Kanpur Cantt. After that, he will hold the rally in Malihabad constituency, Lucknow at 1:50 PM. At 3:05 PM, he will address the rally at Mohanlalganj in Lucknow.
UP BJP Head Swatantra Dev Singh
UP state BJP head Swatantra Dev Singh will visit Eta and Kasganj today for political campaigning. He will hold meetings with party workers and Jansabha to address the people.
At 12:30 PM, he will hold a meeting with party workers at the DAB Inter College Ground at Aliganj in Eta. At 1:30 PM, he will meet the people of the constituency at Aliganj Market. At 3 PM, he will address a Jansampark rally in Kasganj.
UP Dy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya
UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya will hold rallies in Jalauna, Ittawa, Kanpur, and Kannauj. At 11:30 AM, he will address a rally at Kadora Mela Ground in Jalauna. At 12:45 PM, he will address another rally at Alishan Guest House Ground at Auraiya road in Ittawa.
After that, a rally will take place at 1:55 PM at Yogeshwar Rice Mill in Kanpur Dehat. Then, he will address a rally at 2:55 Pm at Vimla Nursing College in Kanpur. Maurya will be addressing a rally in Kannauj at 4:10 PM in the evening.
Azaad Samaj Party’s Chandrashekhar Aazad
Azaad Samaj Party national convener Chandrashekhar Azad will also visit the Sant Ravidas temple in Varanasi today on the occasion of Ravidas Jayanti. After that, he will visit Gorakhpur and other constituencies.
On Tuesday, Aazad tweeted, “My nomination has been accepted from Gorakhpur Sadar. The account of injustice done by the BJP government in the last 5 years will be in Gorakhpur. On 16th February, on the birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Satguru Ravidas ji, taking his blessings at his birthplace, Banaras, I will go out for campaigning in Gorakhpur and other assembly constituencies.”
AAP Leader Arvind Kejriwal
Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal will hold a press conference in Punjab’s Mohali today. He will then hold a roadshow in Jalandhar. His press conference will take place at 11 AM. After addressing the press, he will visit the Ravidas temple at 1 PM and then hold a roadshow in Jalandhar.
Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot
Rajasthan CM and veteran Congress leader Ashok Gehlot will campaign in Punjab today. He will hold a rally in Ludhiana today at 1:30 PM. And after that, he will visit the Chandigarh Congress office at 5 PM to address the press conference.
Union Minsiter Nitin Gadkari
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will also visit Punjab today for political campaigning. Gadkari will reach the Rest House market in Ludhiana at 11 AM. After that, he will visit the Grain market in Bhatinda at 3:15 PM.
