Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated on Saturday that if the NDA secures over 400 Lok Sabha seats and returns to power, it will construct grand temples in Varanasi and Mathura and implement the Uniform Civil Code. Sarma expressed that under PM Narendra Modi's leadership, the NDA will ensure the return of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, which he described as an integral part of India.

Speaking at election rallies in Muzaffarpur, Siwan, and Buxar, Sarma declared, "We will implement UCC, build a temple on Krishna Janmabhoomi premises in Mathura, and establish Kashi Vishwanath temple in place of Gyanvapi Mosque in Varanasi, besides ensuring that PoK returns to India, after winning over 400 seats", news agency PTI reported.

Lashing out at the Congress and its allies, Assam CM said, "Rahul Gandhi and Lalu Prasad did not attend the consecration of Ram Mandir. They want to send Ram Lalla back to the tent. We must not let this happen." He labeled Congress and RJD as the "biggest enemies of OBCs" because they were attempting to impose reservations based on religion on the nation.

"Religion-based reservations should be given to Muslims in Pakistan, not India. Lalu Prasad should go to Pakistan to give reservations to Muslims. The NDA will not allow this at any cost. The new India of Modi ji does not need madrassa... we need modern schools and colleges that will produce doctors and engineers not maulvis from madrassa," he commented, as quoted by PTI.

Rahul Gandhi Can Contest Elections In Pakistan And Become Its PM: Assam CM

Mouting an attack against Rahul Gandhi, Assam CM Sarma remarked, "He can contest elections in Pakistan and become its PM. He and his party are indulging in politics of appeasement." "The corrupt Congress-RJD alliance is trying its best to stall the development of Bihar... they indulge in fulfilling their interests whenever they get an opportunity. The NDA is breaking their nexus," he added.

Sarma claimed that in addition to fielding their candidates, the Congress and RJD are supporting Independent candidates against BJP nominees in a few seats. "These Independents are always in constant touch with leaders of the Congress and RJD," he said, as per PTI.

Raj Bhushan Nishad of the BJP is running from Muzaffarpur, while Vijay Lakshmi Devi Kushwaha, an NDA nominee, is running from Siwan. Wheras BJP's candidate, Mithilesh Tiwary, fielded from the Buxar Lok Sabha seat.
