New Delhi: The seventh and final phase of polling for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections culminated on Sunday, bringing an end to the voting for the 2019 general elections.

As per the ABP News Exit poll, the Bharatiya Janata Party is expected to sweep the polls in Gujarat and Rajasthan, repeating their stellar performance in the western Indian states last general elections. The BJP is likely to win 24 out of the 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat. The Congress is expected to clinch only two seats.

In Rajasthan, despite the major setback suffered in the state assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party is set for a major win, with a projected 19 seats in their kitty. Meanwhile the Congress is likely to have a dismal result, winning only five seats in the state.


So in a nutshell, the BJP is once again set to retain its traditional bastion in the coastal state of India.
