ABP News-CVoter Gujarat Opinion Poll 2022: With the ascension of Narendra Modi and the BJP becoming the main party to wrest with in any election, the state of Gujarat becomes important as it is looked at as a citadel from where the new innings of the saffron party started. All eyes are on the state of Gujarat after the Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the poll schedule on Thursday, November 3.


Polling in Gujarat will be held in two phases -- December 1 and December 5 -- and the counting of votes will take place on December 8. After the EC Gujarat election schedule announcement, ABP News in partnership with CVoter conducted a survey to check the mood of the voters ahead of the crucial Gujarat assembly election 2022.


ABP News-CVoter Gujarat Opinion Poll 2022 — Vote Share Percentage


In terms of retaining power, BJP is coming out as the main leader in terms of vote share percentage, while Congress is losing major ground as per the latest ABP News-CVoter survey. BJP is expected to get 45.4% of the vote share, which is 3.7% less than the 2017 Gujarat assembly election. Congress is projected to gain only 29.1 % of the vote share in the state, a major swing of 12.4% from the last state assembly election.


Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), a new entrant, is making a splash as the ABP-CVoter 2022 Gujarat Opinion Poll data suggests that it will be able to get 20.2% of the vote share.

      


ABP News-CVoter Gujarat Opinion Poll 2022 — Seat Range Projection


CVoter's latest survey projects that BJP will be easily able to retain the majority in the 182-member legislative state assembly. As per ABP News-CVoter Gujarat Opinion Poll 2022, BJP will be able to get 131 to 139 assembly seats. Congress will range from 31 to 39 assembly seats, while AAP will be able to get 7 to 15 assembly seats as per ABP-CVoter Opinion Poll.
