The Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA alliance is projected to win 28 out of 48 Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming general elections, while the I.N.D.I.A. bloc, comprising Congress and its allies, is likely to get 20 seats. According to an opinion poll survey by ABP-CVoter, Congress is projected to win four seats, and its allies (Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction) and Nationalist Congress Party-Sharadchandra Pawar) are likely to win 16 seats combined.
As far as the vote share is concerned, NDA is likely to receive 42.7 per cent votes and Congress and its allies are projected to receive 42.1 per cent votes.
In a bid to assess and understand the minds of the voters in Maharashtra, a survey was conducted where several questions were asked pertaining to the performance of the central government and the state government.
On being asked as to how much the people are satisfied with the performance of the central government, 26.55 per cent of respondents said that they were very much satisfied, while 32.9 per cent were satisfied up to some extent, and 37.19 per cent people were not at all satisfied.
On the question of the performance of the state government, 22.18 per cent of people said that they were very much satisfied, while 34.21 per cent said they were satisfied up to some extent and 34.37 per cent of people were not satisfied at all.
On being asked about the performance of PM Modi, 41.5 per cent of people said they were very much satisfied, 29.47 per cent people are satisfied up to some extent, and 27.07 per cent people were not at all satisfied.
Responding to a query on whom the people want to see as the next Prime Minister, 58.83 per cent of respondents said that they want Narendra Modi to continue for another term, while 28.83 per cent of people feel that Rahul Gandhi should be the next Prime Minister.
On the question of daily expenses, 22.48 per cent of voters said that their expenses have gone up but they are able to manage it, 52.11 per cent people believe that it has become difficult for them to manage their expenses and 24.5 per cent people have said that their expenses have gone down.
