Aam Aadmi Party has decided to conduct its Political Affairs Committee (PAC) meeting on February 13 to decide the names of the Lok Sabha candidates for seats in Haryana, Goa, and Gujarat, reported news agency PTI. So far, AAP has announced its candidates for three Lok Sabha constituencies in Assam after becoming frustrated with the prolonged negotiations on seat-sharing with its coalition partner Congress in the I.N.D.I.A. bloc.

Sandeep Pathak, national general secretary of AAP, announced party leaders Manoj Dhanohar, Bhabhen Chaudhary, and Rishi Raj candidates from Dibrugarh, Guwahati, and Sonitpur, respectively.

During a press conference at AAP headquarters, Pathak announced its general polls preparation plan after naming the candidates and said that it was "tired" of inconclusive talks with the I.N.D.I.A. bloc, reported Hindustan Times.

A few AAP leaders had also revealed earlier that the party is in talks with Congress over seat-sharing in Haryana, Goa, Gujarat, and Delhi, reported PTI. Both parties have held several rounds of seat-sharing talks but have been avoiding discussions for 13 Lok sabha seats in AAP-ruled Punjab where the grand old party is the main opposition, reported Hindustan Times.

On Thursday, AAP said that it will not form any alliance in Punjab and will go solo in the state. Pathak expressed disappointment over seat-sharing talks which have been ongoing for months with no concrete result. "We have to contest elections to win... and not just for the sake of it. The LS polls are very close. We have to work hard for the poll preparations and a lot of work needs to be done. There is not much time available with us,” the senior leader said on Thursday.

Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal declared Chaitar Vasava as the party's candidate from Bharuch seat in Gujarat.
