Wardha: Addressing a public rally in Maharashtra's Wardha on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on both the Indian National Congress and National Congress Party (NCP)  ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

PM Modi Modi lashed out at the Congress over 'Hindu terror', saying the party humiliated crores in India and labelled "peace-loving Hindu society as terrorists" in front of the world.

PM Modi targeted NCP's patriarch Sharad Pawar and the NCP-Congress alliance in Maharashtra  by saying that the NCP is slipping from Pawar's grip. Commenting on Pawar's announcement that he will not contest this year's Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi said Pawar has been a PM aspirant but is now sensing "unfavourable situation".

Blasting the opposition parties over their criticism of the NDA government after the air strike on terror camps in Pakistan following the Pulwama attack, he asked people if they wanted India's heroes or those who became heroes in the neighbouring country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed on the government’s Swachh Bharat initiative. Taking on the Congress, Modi said he is “proud that he is the chowkidar of toilets” and that the Congress has humiliated him for it.
