Background

Uttara Kannada: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Anantkumar Hegde from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 140700 votes. The polling / voting in Uttara Kannada constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 3 on 23 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Anantkumar Hegde and Janata Dal (Secular)#s Anand Asnotikar

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 17 out of the 28 parliamentary seat with 43 percent vote share while the Indian National Congress managed to win just 9 seats with a 40.8 percent vote share.

5 बजे तक 10 लोकसभा सीटों पर 47.10 फीसदी मतदान हुआ। मुरादाबाद में 58.31 %, रामपुर 56.97 %, संभाल 56.01 %, फिरोजाबाद 54.92 %, मैनपुरी 53.35%, एटा 58.35%, बदायूं 55.60%, आंवला 55.35%, बरेली 57.35% और पीलीभीत में 60.93% मतदान हुआ।

सैफई में मतदान के बाद अखिलेश ने कहा कि चुनाव आयोग को रामपुर में ईवीएम की खराबी पर संज्ञान लेना चाहिए।
