Established in the year 1958, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is a prominent board of school education in the country. CISCE was founded under the leadership of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the then Education Minister, with a primary aim to replace Cambridge School Certificate Examination by an All India Examination.
