Kolkata Uttar: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Sudip Bandyopadhyay from All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) won the elections by a margin of 96226 votes. The polling / voting in Kolkata Uttar constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 7 on 19 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Rahul Sinha and All India Trinamool Congress#s Sudip Bandyopadhyay

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, All India Trinamool Congress won 34 out of the 42 parliamentary seat with 39.8 percent vote share while the Communist Party of India (Marxist) managed to win just 2 seats with a 23 percent vote share.

भारतीय टीम ने दक्षिण अफ्रीका को हराकर अपने वर्ल्ड कप अभियान का विजयी आगाज किया है. भारत के लिए शतक लगाने वाले रोहित शर्मा और चार विकेट लेने वाले चहल जीत के हीरो रहे. भारत ने 47.3 ओवर में 228 का लक्ष्य हासिल कर लिया और 6 विकेट से जीत दर्ज की.

रोहित शर्मा ने अब तेजी से रन बनाने शुरू कर दिए हैं. 228 रन के लक्ष्य का पीछा करने उतरी भारतीय टीम ने 31 ओवर की समाप्ति पर 2 विकेट खोकर 137 रन बना लिए हैं. रोहित शर्मा 81 रन बनाकर खेल रहे हैं, जबकि के एल राहुल 26 रन बनाए हैं.
