Gurgaon: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Inderjit Singh Rao from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 274722 votes. The polling / voting in Gurgaon constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 6 on 12 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Rao Indrajeet Singh and Congress Party#s Capt. Ajay Singh Yadav

Gurgaon 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 7 out of the 10 parliamentary seat with 34.7 percent vote share while the Indian National Lok Dal managed to win just 2 seats with a 24.4 percent vote share.

Out of the 22 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Gurgaon, 20 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Inderjit Singh Rao of the Bharatiya Janta Party as he defeated Zakir Hussain by a margin of 274722 votes.

• 2009 Lok Sabha Elections: In 15th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated Bahujan Samaj Party candidate by a margin of 84864 votes INC candidate Inderjit Singh Rao had got 278516 while BSP got Zakir Hussain votes.
• 1971 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fifth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated IND candidate by a margin of 67942 votes INC candidate Tayyab Hussain had got 199333 while IND got K. Narendra votes.
• 1967 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fourth Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Independent and INC here Independent candidate defeated his INC counterpart with a difference of 1308 votes.
• 1962 Lok Sabha Elections: In Third Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated IND candidate with a difference of 18418 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Gajraj Singh attained 112342 votes and IND candidate Devi Singh bagged 93924 votes
• 1957 Lok Sabha Elections: In Second Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated BJS candidate by a margin of 95668 votes INC candidate Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad had got 191221 while BJS got Mool Chand votes.
• 1951 Lok Sabha Elections: In India's Very First Lok Sabha Polls, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated IND candidate by a margin of 76654 votes INC candidate Thakar Das had got 113269 while IND got Jiwan Khan votes.

हरियाणा में लोग बीजेपी के कामकाज से खुश नजर आ रहे हैं. अभी तक के रुझानों के मुताबिक बीजेपी सभी 10 सीटों पर आगे चल रही है. कांग्रेस दूसरे नंबर पर है.

हरियाणा के 10 सीटों पर आए शुरुआती रुझान में बीजेपी 2 सीटों पर आगे चल रही है. अभी यह शुरुआती रुझान है लेकिन कांग्रेस के लिए चिंता की बात है.

हरियाणा समेत देश के अन्य सभी राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में आज वोटों की गिनती है. हरियाणा में लोकसभा की 10 सीटें हैं और इन सभी 10 सीटों पर छठे चरण में वोटिंग हुई थी. राज्य में इस बार भी मुख्य मुकाबला तीन पार्टियों के बीच है. पहली पार्टी बीजेपी, दूसरी कांग्रेस और तीसरी पार्टी आईएनएलडी है. ऐसे में किस पार्टी को कितनी सीटें मिलेंगे इसका फैसला आज हो जाएगा.
