WB HS Result 2019 Topper: The West Bengal Council Of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has released the Uccha Madhyamik aka Class 12th Results 2019 today for Arts, Science and Commerce streams. The results are hosted on the official results’ portal of West Bengal - wbresults.nic.in. While the overall pass percentage for WB 12th Results 2019 has jumped to 86.92% from 83.75% last year, boys have outperformed girls with 87.44% and 85.30% pass percentages, respectively.

Shovan Mandal and Rajarshi Barman have been declared joint toppers for West Bengal Class 12th Exams 2019. Both the state toppers have obtained 498/500 i.e. 99.6% marks.

In the Arts stream, Granthan Sengupta secured highest passing marks with 99.2%, while Ritvik Kumar Sahu was declared Science stream topper with 98.6% marks. Rakesh Dey bagged overall fourth position in the results declared today by securing 98.4% marks.

Arkadipta Ghosh ranked fifth overall in the WB Class 12th merit list, and has scored highest marks in girls category with 97.2%.

Srijita Ghosh has topped the state capital Kolkata by securing 97.6% marks, standing at eight position in the state.

In a first, a total of 137 students have made it to the West Bengal Top Ten Merit List 2019.

District-wise, East Midnapore has registered highest pass percentage. Kolkata recorded the second highest pass percentage, followed by Kalimpong and West Midnapore at the third and fourth spots, respectively.

The Uccha Madhyamik examination were held from 26th February to 13th March 2019. Approximately, 7,90,000 students had registered for the WB Class 12th Exams 2019, while 7,77,000 students appeared for the same this year, check complete coverage of WB Class 12th Result 2019 below:
