New Delhi: Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune is a posted a notification for a temporary vacancy of a Junior Research Fellow for the project “Understanding the role of mitochondrial-associated membrane proteins (MAMs) modulated type-I interferon signaling for targeted cell death in aging breast cancer patients”. IISER is inviting applications from Indian nationals for a vacancy which is temporary and contractual basis. The candidate should be over the age of 28 though it can be relaxed based on the qualification but should have the minimum educational qualification of M.Sc. in Biochemistry or Life Sciences or equivalent qualification with relevant specialization with minimum 60% marks or an equivalent grade with valid CSIR-UGC-NET or GATE or equivalent scorecard from a recognized University or Institution. Candidates with experience in Mass Spectrometry based Proteomics and a background in Protein Biochemistry, Mammalian Tissue Culture, and Molecular Biology will be preferred.

The emoluments would be Rs. 31,000/- with 24% HRA per month.
