GATE 2021 will be held in 2 sessions each day, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm. The dates of the exams are February 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, and 14.
Here’s how to download the exam
- Visit the official website- gate.iitd.ac.in
- Click on the ‘download admit card' link
- Enter registration number/ roll number to login
- Admit card will appear on screen
- Download and print for future reference
Candidates are requested to check all the details including name, parents' name etc, and should match with that mentioned in documents. If there are any discrepancies, the candidate must contact the authorities. The admit card will also contain the exam date, venue, reporting time, and instructions.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or commonly referred to as GATE, is a national examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee.
Qualifying in GATE is a mandatory requirement for those seeking admission to Postgraduate Programs and also for receiving financial aid from the Ministry of Education (MoE) and other Government Scholarships / Assistantships. GATE 2021 score is valid for three years from the date of announcement of results.
