Uttarakhand School Reopening: Schools for classes 9 to 12 reopen in Uttarakhand from today in accordance with the decision taken by the state government. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the children about the reopening of the school in Rudraprayag district. While the parents are happy with the re-opening of the school, the school teachers are also expressing happiness with the arrival of the children.
Amidst the fear of the third wave of Coronavirus, the Uttarakhand government has decided to re-open the school. From today, schools from classes 9 to 12 have been re-opened in the entire state, and there is an atmosphere of positivity due to the arrival of children in the schools. There are 109 secondary, 81 inter colleges, and 28 high schools in Rudraprayag district. There is a huge enthusiasm among the children due to the opening of the school.

Only 50 percent of the children have attended school on the first day. Gradually, all the children will start attending the schools. Schools have been opened by the government, but apart from reading, prayer meetings, children's meetings, sports, music, cultural programs, and other group activities will not be organized. Along with this, the children will be made to follow the Covid 19 protocol on behalf of the school management. School children say that due to the corona pandemic, they had to face many problems in their studies. It was getting difficult to study online at home. In rural areas, children faced a lot of network problems, due to which they were not able to study properly. Hence, the opening of the schools has given relief to many kids and their parents.
Online studies to continue
The children said that the only thing they want from the government is continuous education. Due to the corona pandemic, social distancing is being followed, and masks are being worn. There is no corona patient even in rural areas.
Dr. Mamta Nautiyal, the headmistress of Government Girls Inter College, said that the children are very excited about the opening of the school, but only 50 percent of the children attended the school on the first day. We are getting consent letters from the parents of other students. Accordingly, the children will continue to attend school. Children who want to study at home will continue to study online. He told that all the children reaching the school are being sanitized. Social distancing is being followed. Due to the Covid pandemic, a nodal officer has been appointed in the school to ensure that Covid 19 measures are being followed. Studies are being conducted while taking necessary precautions for children's safety.
