Uttarakhand Class 12 Exams 2021 Cancelled: The Uttarakhand Minister for School and Sanskrit Education Arvind Pandey on Wednesday announced that the Uttarakhand Board has decided to cancel the Uttarakhand Class 12 board examination 2021. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in view of the covid-19 pandemic. 


Earlier, the Uttarakhand Board had postponed the Uttarakhand Class 12 board exams scheduled to be conducted from May 4 to May 22, due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Uttarakhand Board exams were scheduled to be held in two shifts.

Following the CBSE decision to cancel the CBSE class 12 board examination 2021, the Uttarakhand board has also decided to cancel the class 12 board examinations.



The decision to cancel the CBSE class 12 board examination was taken during a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

After the meeting, PM Modi on his official Twitter handle wrote, "Government of India has decided to cancel the Class 12 CBSE Board Exams. After extensive consultations, we have taken a decision that is student-friendly, one that safeguards the health as well as future of our youth." 


Students who will not be satisfied with their class 12 marks will be provided an opportunity to appear for the examination only after the conditions will become conducive to hold the examinations, a government statement post the meeting said.
