The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the exam dates for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Mains 2024. UPSC Civil Services Mains Exam will take place from September 20 to 29, with two sessions each day: the morning session from 9 am to 12 noon and the afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Those who cleared the prelims exam are eligible for the mains exam. UPSC declared the prelims result on July 1, revealing that 14,627 candidates had cleared the preliminary exam.

UPSC Prelims Exam was conducted by the commission on June 16, 2024, in two shifts. Over 13.4 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. The UPSC aims to fill 1,056 vacancies through this examination, including 40 seats reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
