The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 Exam 2024 dates. According to the official notification, the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is scheduled to take place from September 9 to September 26 at various exam centers across the country. Candidates preparing for the SSC CGL 2024 exam can check and download the notice on the SSC website at ssc.gov.in. The SSC CGL 2024 examination will be conducted in two tiers, with Tier 1 in September and Tier 2 scheduled for December.


"The Commission has decided to conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024 (Tier-I) from 09-Sep-2024 to 26-Sep-2024. The candidates are advised to visit the website of the Commission at regular intervals for further updates," SSC said in a notice.






The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the application correction window for the SSC CGL 2024 exam on August 11, 2024. The application process for the SSC CGL 2024 exam began on June 24 and concluded on July 27. The application process involved filling in candidate details, uploading the necessary documents, and paying the application fees.


Candidates who wish to make any changes to their application forms must do so before this deadline. This recruitment drive will fill up to 17,727 vacancies.

  • General Intelligence Reasoning: 50 Marks

  • General Awareness: 50 Marks

  • Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Marks

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has specified the minimum qualifying marks for the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam in their official notification. General category candidates must secure at least 30% to qualify. For candidates in the OBC (Other Backward Classes) and EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) categories, the qualifying mark is set at 25%.


Candidates from all other categories, including SC (Scheduled Caste) and ST (Scheduled Tribe), are required to obtain a minimum of 20% of the total marks to pass the exam.
