The 69,000 Assistant Teacher posts excludes the 27,000 backlog teaching posts. Another point to be noted is that the qualifying UP Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examination (ATRE) 2019 will be in OMR format to make the examination marking system transparent and remove subjectivity as was the case observed in Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examination (ATRE) 2018.
