The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh has started the registration for the stray vacancy round of UP NEET PG Counselling 2023. Candidates seeking participation in the final round of state counselling based on the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate programs must complete their registration on the official website at upneet.gov.in. According to the official schedule, the deadline for registration is October 13 and applicants can complete the security deposit payment by October 14. The UP NEET PG stray vacancy round counseling is exclusively for candidates who were not assigned a seat in the initial, second, or mop-up rounds. Fresh registrants are obliged to submit a registration fee of Rs 2,000 for participation in the stray vacancy round.

Additionally, candidates must also submit a security deposit, which amounts to Rs 30,000 for state government medical colleges, Rs 2 lakh for state private medical colleges, and Rs 1 lakh for state dental colleges. Candidates who have previously submitted the security deposit in any previous counseling round are not required to resubmit it. It's crucial to note that if a candidate fails to take up the seat allotted in the stray vacancy round, their security deposit will be forfeited, rendering them ineligible for subsequent state medical and dental counseling opportunities.
