UP Board Result 2020: UPMSP declared the board examination results for Class 10th and 12th on its official website at upresults.nic.in & upmspresults.up.nic.in. Ria Jain has topped the state in class 10th while Anurag Malik has topped in class 12th exam. Toppers will get laptops and cash prizes.

The class 10th topper Ria Jain and 12th topper Anurag Malik are students of the same school i.e, SM inter-college Baghpat. Ria has scored 96.67% in the class 10th exam while Anurag scored 97% in the class 12th exam.
24,84,479 total students have taken the class 12th exam this year. Out of the 13,92,675 boys, 959223 passed making a pass percent of 68.88 while on the other hand, 8,94,876 out of 10,91,804 girls passed the exam making a pass percentage of 81.96. Girls outscored boys in class 12th too.
27,72,656 students took UP Board 10th exam out of which 14,90,814 were Boys and 1190888 boys passed making a pass percentage of 79.88% while 11,18,914 out of 12,81,842 girls have passed the exam making a pass percentage of 87.29. Girls have outperformed boys.
Big announcement has been made by the UP Board officials. The government will construct roads for 20 toppers of the board 10th and 12th exams.
The roads will be named after the toppers, said Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma.

“It was like a dream to release the exam results in the times of Covid-19,” said Dinesh Sharma.“Our teachers checked over 2 crore answer sheets within 21 days.Our results of both class 10 and 12 have improved from last year,” he added.
The results for UP Class 10th and 12th have been declared by the UP Board officials. Candidates have to wait for the results to get uploaded on the official website.

In just three hours, the UP Board will announce the high school and intermediate results today. The press conference will begin at 12 noon.
Last year, in class 10th, Gautam Raghuvanshi had topped the UP Board exam 2019. He got 97.17 percent marks.
In class 12th, Tanu Tomar had topped UP Board exam 2019 with 97.8 percent marks.

As per UP board regulation, students can appear for Improvement exam in one subject in which they failed and appear for Compartment exam in one of the two subjects in which they failed.

There are a total of 30,24,632 students who are waiting for UP Board 10th Result or UP high school result. According to the official reports, the class 10th examinations were completed in a record time of 12 working days.
There are a total of 25,86,440 students who are waiting for UP Board 12th Results or UP Intermediate results. The UPMSP High School and Intermediate March 2020 examinations were conducted between February 18 to March 6, 2020.
The UP board launched two toll-free helpline numbers: 1800-180-5310 and 1800-180-5312 for students to get replies to their queries and help them overcome stress. The helpline numbers remain active from 8 am to 8 pm.
Once the UP Board Result 2020 is declared, students are likely to be provided digital mark sheets. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, students will be restricted from visiting schools to collect their UP Board mark sheets. Hence, e-mark sheets will be made available to all the students.
UP chief additional secretary of secondary education Aradhna Shukla said, “Where the National Boards like CBSE and ICSE are unable to complete their exams, the UP Board completed the exams well in time but also got the 3.5 crore copies of 56 lakh students evaluated by 1.2 lakh teachers in record time during the lockdown.”
The passing criteria for UP board results has not been changed. This year too, students who obtain at least 35 percent marks with be considered pass.

UP Board Results 2020: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, or UPMSP, declared the class 10th and 12th result on its website after Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma announced the results in the press conference.
The examination board announced the pass percentage for UP Board 2020, the overall pass percentage for class 10 is 83.31 percent. The overall pass percentage for class 12 is 74.63 percent.
In a major announcement Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma also said that roads will be named after the toppers.

The UP Board Exams 2020 started on February 18th and ended on March 3rd and Senior Secondary Uttar Pradesh Board Exams were conducted between February 18th and March 6th. As per official sources, more than 30.24 lakh students had taken the Class 10 UP board exams and 25.86 lakh students had taken the Class 12 UP board exams. The board result of 2020 is declared for a total number of 56.11 lakh students.

Students need a minimum of 35 percent to pass, if their marks are below 35 percent they will have to appear for a supplementary exam or compartment for that particular subject.
