UGC NET 2020: The National Testing Agency(NTA) released the answer keys of 55 subjects on November 5 and candidates can raise objections till 9 PM today on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The answer key is for exams conducted between 24 September and 17 October 2020.

According to the official notification, all the candidates can raise objections against the answer keys on the official website on or before November 7 (9.00 pm). A processing fee of Rs. 1000/- will be charged per challenge which will be refunded if the objection is legitimate. The payment can be made online, through payment gateway, using debit/credit card, Net Banking. The notification also says that no challenge will be considered without receipt of the processing fee.

Here's how to raise objections 

  • Go to UGC - NET June 2020 official website - ugcnet.nta.nic.in and click on the link that reads, "View Question Paper/ Answer Key Challenge."

  • Go to UGC - NET June 2020 official website - ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

  • Click on, "View Question Paper/ Answer Key Challenge."

  • Login using application number, date of birth, and security pin as shown on the screen.

  • The UGC-NET 2020 answer key will be displayed on your screen.

  • You can now tally your responses and challenge the answers if any by clicking on 'Click to view /Challenge Answer Key' and following the steps


The UGC Net exams are still ongoing and the dates for November exams are 4, 5, 11, 12, and 13 November 2020.

UGC NET 2020 exams are being conducted by the NTA in 81 subjects at different Exam Centers across India to determine the eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or Assistant Professor only in various Indian Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions recognized by UGC.

The exam comprises two papers Paper I and II containing multiple-choice questions (MCQs). While Paper I which is on teaching and research aptitude is common and mandatory for all candidates, Paper-II will be on the subject selected by the candidate. Both papers have to be completed within 3 hours.
