The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2019 is conducted for the candidates seeking admissions to postgraduate degree programmes like MBA, MCA, M.E. M.Tech, M.Arch and M.Plan, for the academic session 2019-20. The scores obtained by candidate in TANCET 2019 will be considered a base for admissions at the University Departments/University Colleges of Engineering, Regional Campuses of Anna University/Annamalai University, Government/Government Aided Colleges (Engineering, Arts & Science Colleges)/Self-financing Colleges (Engineering, Arts & Science Colleges) and stand-alone Institutions in the state of Tamil Nadu.

How to apply online for TANCET 2019?
Step 1 – Visit the official website – annauniv.edu
Step 2 – On the top left of the home page, click on the link which reads, “TANCET 2019”
Step 3 – You’ll be redirected to a new page
Step 4 – Click on the link, ‘Register Online’
Step 5 – Enter all the requisite details like name, date of birth, email address and password
Step 6 – Complete the application form, pay the application fee and submit
Step 7 – Download the application form and take a printout for further reference
Selection Process:
Selection to given programmes will be done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the respective entrance exam.
Application Fee:
General – Rs. 500/-
SC/ST/SCA – Rs. 250/-
Candidates are required to fill only one application form for all the three entrance tests viz. M.C.A., M.B.A., or M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch. / M.Plan. But, if a candidate seeks to appear for more than one programme, he/she will need to pay Rs. 500/- (General) and – Rs. 250/ (SC/ST/SCA). The application fee for the entrance test can be paid only through online mode.
