According to officials, more than 15 lakh students appeared for the SSC exam.
Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has tweeted that the Maharashtra Board SSC result will be available on website at 1 pm.

What is the passing mark for MSBSHSE SSC Result 2020?



In order to clear the MSBHSE SSC Board exam 2020, candidates need to score a minimum of 33% marks in each subject for which they have appeared in the examination. Passing marks are part of the Maharashtra state board of secondary & higher secondary education exam policy and leniency is granted to students in this regards.

When were the examinations conducted?
MSBSHSE was scheduled the class SSC examination from 3rd March 2020 to 23rd March 2020 and HSC examination from 18th February 2020 to 18th March 2020.
How marks will be allotted in the cancelled geography paper?



The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education has said that they will use the average derived from the rest of the subject which will be used as the cancelled Class 10 Geography marks. The board has decided to use the average from the other five subjects to get a score for Geography.
Cancelled Papers: Geography paper was scheduled to be held on 23rd March but was cancelled on 13th April due to the lockdown. Around 17 lakh students were supposed to take this exam. The MSBSHSE had also cancelled the papers for vocational subjects which are offered to children with special needs. These are conducted 2-3 days after the board exams.

As per the official notification the result will be declared sometime after 1 pm today. Students are advised to keep checking the portals after 1 pm.

Considering the Covid-19 situation this year, students will not be required to visit the state board offices for photocopy of answer sheets, verification of marks or to request a re-evaluation. Students can apply online at verification.mh-ssc.ac.in from July 30 till August 8. For photocopy of answer sheets, a request can be sent online till August 18.
MSBSHSE had recently announced the Class 12 results. 90.66% of students have passed in the final exams this year.
"Since the pending Geography paper was cancelled, the board has decided to award SSC students an average of marks obtained in the written examination of other subjects," an official statement had informed.
Students will be able to access their results on the official websites of MSBSHSE: mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in and mahresult.nic.in.
Due to the Coronavirus situation, MSBSHSE decided to cancel the remaining examinations. For cancelled papers, students will be evaluated on the basis of the average mark secured by them in the examinations conducted.
According to the notification, the Maharashtra SSC result 2020 will be declared on July 29, Wednesday on the board's official website, sometime after 1 pm.
"Results of SSC (10th standard) of Maharashtra state board to be declared tomorrow. It will be available online after 1 pm tomorrow (29 July),": Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Education announced in a statement.
Earlier, Maharashtra School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad had said that SSC 2020 result will be declared by the end of July.

The scorecard has now been released after 1 pm on the official result portal today. Students need to enter valid roll number &  mother's first name as given on the admit card on the official website to check their results.


Over 17 lakh students who took the examination are waitin anxiously to check their scores. Announcement was already done for the results and a pass percentage of 95.30% has been recorded this year. Among all the regions, it is Konkan region which haas recorded highest pass percentage with 98.77 %.

On July 16, the Board had released the results for the class 12th or higher secondary certificate (HSC) results and it was expected that it will follow it up with class 10 results as it is usually released soon after the class 12 results. This year the pandemic and the nationwide lockdown had disrupted Board exams and the evaluation of answer scripts. In the case of class 10, the exam for geography could not be conducted. The Board is, therefore, going to use an average of marks obtained in other subjects for Geography.

Once the results are released it will available on the official websites mahresult.nic.in, maharashtraeducation.com, and mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in. According to media reports, this year 17,65,898 students appeared for the exams. To pass the exams students require at least a minimum of 35 percent. In 2019 the overall pass percentage was 77.10 percent.
