Talent never seeks for urban amenities, big cities and high-end coaching institutes. This is proved by Krishanshu Tanvar who hails from Alwar, Rajasthan the coaching capital of the country. Krishanshu is a medical prep student who secured 53rd rank in the NEET exam. While students from around the country travel to Rajasthan for preparation of IIT and medical entrance examination, Krishanshu came to Varanasi. After the results, not only the students who are in the topper list hail from small cities, they achieved their ranks by coaching in small cities only. Although Rajasthan is famous for coaching, but a child from there came to Benaras and got the 53rd rank. It is evident from this that if the right guidance is given, the niche can be achieved from the niche. Not only Krishnanshu, who has achieved great success by living in a small town, there are also students like Shweta and Akanksha who are on their way to fulfill their dreams.

Krihanshu scored 705 out of 720 and his success is being celebrated in both Varanasi as well as at his home. Talking to NDTV Krishanshu expressed his happiness by thanking his parents, teachers and the coaching institute.

Krishnanshu is a resident of Salimpur village in Alwar district of Rajasthan, but came to Varanasi for coaching due as his family’s ill financial condition. "I come from a lower middle-class family. My economic condition is not such that I can study by paying very high fee in quota, so I came to Varanasi.”, he further added.

Krishnanshu's classmate Shweta, also secured a good rank from in coaching in Varanasi, believes that success comes from confidence, not from big cities and big coaching. Shweta Singh told NDTV that ,"students can remain successful if they keep confidence on themselves, do self-study, if they are provided good material support". It is not necessary to go to a big city, where you are, you can study even by staying in a small city.

Just like Krishnanshu and Shweta, Akhanksha from Gorakhpur who scored 720 out of 720 and secured second rank in the NEET. Even though she was enrolled at a coaching center in Delhi but did her preparations from her hometown in Gorakhpur due to the lockdown, sets another example of success and talent needs no big cities and coaching.

“This is the first time in the history of Varanasi that a student has secured 705 marks in medicals examination.” , said Arun Kumar Tiwari, Joint Director of L1 Coaching Insititute. "There are a lot of families in the city who send their children to Kota or Delhi for coaching, they feel the institutes does not provide with better learning environment and study materials, while those who are coming from lower financial background stay here and study. Till now there were success stories but now we made the history.” He further added.

This light of success of these children of small cities is filling the spirit of doing something in other children setting up example and inspiration. It is said that if there is true passion and courage, then no work is difficult. The children who have secured the top rank in NEET examination are making this point fully.
