RRB Recruitment 2019: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) of the Indian Railways is gearing up to roll out another mega recruitment drive through which it aims to create 1.3 lac more jobs in the country. Quoting RRB officials, report are riff that the indicative RRB Recruitment 2019 notification my hit the stands via employment news on 23rd February 2019, this month.

Earlier this year, the Ministry of Railways had announced that 2.3 lac vacancies will be filled in the next few years. The RRB Recruitment 2019 for 1.3 lac jobs could be the first instalment of the mega recruitment planned by the Indian Railways.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) of the Indian Railways has been on a hiring spree since last year, February 2018, when it rolled out two major Central Recruitment drives via advertisement numbers CEN 01/2018 for ALP/ Technicians and CEN 02/2018 for a plethora of Group D posts. The recruitment process for these jobs is currently under process.

New Year 2019 also began with a big bang recruitment notification via CEN 03/2018 for the recruitment of 13487 candidates to the posts of Junior Engineer, Junior Engineer (Information Technology), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA).

While the nature of job posts is yet to be announced for the indicative RRB Recruitment 2019 for 1.3 lac posts, candidates aspiring to join the world’s fourth largest railway network system – the Indian Railways, must keep a close tab on the employment news as well as the regional websites of the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) to know the eligibility criteria, age-limit, pay scale, selection process and other job details once an official notification is released by the Indian Railways.
