Here’s an update for those appearing for RRB non-technical popular category (NTPC) recruitment exams. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the schedule for the fifth phase of the recruitment exams to be held in March.


As per the notification, the board will conduct the RRB NTPC 5th phase CBT-1 on the following dates –March 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 21, and 27, 2021. Around 19 lakh candidates will appear for the fifth phase of the NTPC recruitment exam. For the candidates who will be scheduled on these three dates, necessary intimation will be sent to their E-mail and Mobile numbers given in their online Application. Hence candidates are advised to visit official websites of RRBs also for regular updates," reads the notice.


"For the candidates who are scheduled in the above dates, the LINK for viewing the Exam City & Date and downloading of Free Travelling Authority for SC/ST candidates will be made available on all RRB websites on 23.02.2021 at 05.00 PM," as per the official notice.


However, candidates are advised to keep tracking the official websites of regional RRBs for current updates on RRB NTPC Exam 2021 call letters.


Candidates are advised to strictly follow Covid-related guidelines issued along with the call letter. Use of Face Mask is mandatory. Candidates will be allowed entry only if wearing a Face Mask and the Face mask shall be worn at all times. (except at the time of capturing the photograph).


The RRB non-technical popular category (NTPC) recruitment exams are being held for positions such as Clerk, Time Keeper, Traffic Assistant, Goods 1Guard, Typist, Commercial Apprentice, and Station Master. The RRB NTPC exam will be held in multiple phases till March. The phase 1 exams were conducted from December 28 to January 13, phase 2 exams from January 16 to January 30, phase 3 exams from January 31 to February 12. The phase 4 exams are currently underway and will end on March 3 for approx 15 lakh candidates.
