RPSC Main Exam 2018: Dates of RAS and RTS examination has been postponed again by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). RPSC had earlier rescheduled the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) and Rajasthan Taxation Service (RTS) Combined Competitive Main Examination 2018 from 23rd /24th December 2018 to 28th /29th December 2018. The Commission had again delayed the examination to 29th and 30th January 2019. However, as per the latest notification on the official website, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission has decided to further suspend the examination until new dates are finalised and released by a three-member committee.

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) had invited applications to fill 980 vacancies under Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) and Rajasthan Taxation Service (RTS) via RPSC RAS/RTS Combined Competitive Examination 2018. The commission had held the Preliminary examination last year on 5th August 2018, as part of the first stage of the recruitment process. Approximately 4.97 lac candidates had registered for the RPSC RAS/RTS Prelims 2018, out of which a total of 3,76,762 candidates had appeared.

After RPSC had declared the results of Preliminary Examination, several petitions were filed in the High Court of Rajasthan, after which RPSC had released revised results in which additional 7145 candidates from OBC and MBC categories were provisionally qualified to appear for the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) and Rajasthan Taxation Service (RTS) Mains Combined Competitive Examination 2018.
