UP Board 10th Result: Girls Got Higher Pass Percentage Last Year
In the previous year's UP Board Class 10 result, the pass percentage of girls was higher than that of boys. The pass percentage of girls was recorded at 91.69%, whereas the pass percentage of boys was 85.25%.
Education Minister Wishes Students Before UP Board Result Announcement
Gulab Devi, the Minister of State of Secondary Education has extended her warm wishes to all the students who appeared for the UP Board Examinations in 2023. As the results are expected to be announced soon, the Minister has encouraged the students to remain calm and positive. UP Board 10th Result 2023 Updates: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Siksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released the results for class 10th and 12th today. The Board declared the results from headquarters in Prayagraj. Students can access the High School and Intermediate results on the official websites of UP Board - upmsp.edu.in or upresults.nic.in. Additionally, students can access their UP Class 10th Result 2023 and UP 12th Result 2023 on DigiLocker. To obtain their UP Board Result 2023, candidates must create a login account on DigiLocker.
The UP Board High School exam recorded a pass percentage of 89.78 percent, whereas the pass percentage for the 12th exam is 75.52 percent. Priyanshi Soni from Sitapur district secured the top position in the class 10 exam, while Shubh Chapra from Mahoba topped the class 12 exam.
Earlier, Dibyakant Shukla, the UP Board Secretary, shared an official UPMSP notice on April 24, announcing that the board results will be declared on April 25, 2023 at 1:30 PM.
UP Board 10th exam was held from February 16 to March 3, 2023. A minimum score of 33 percent is necessary for students to pass the UP board exams.
This year, out of a total of 58,67,329 students, 31,16,458 students from Class 10 are registered for UP Board final exams. While the number of students registered for the class 12 exam is 27,50,871.Around 1.43 lakh examiners were appointed to evaluate 3.19 crore answer sheets, as reported by officials from the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP).
This consisted of 89,698 examiners for approximately 1.86 crore High School answer sheets and 54,235 examiners for approximately 1.33 crore Intermediate exam answer sheets. The evaluation of answer sheets commenced on March 18 and concluded on April 1, with 258 evaluation centers spread across the state.
For the first time in 30 years, the UP Board has conducted exams without any issues such as paper leaks or cancellations. The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) collaborated with the education department to monitor the exams.
