The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the result for the UGC NET December 2023 Exam today, January 17, 2024. Soon after the declaration of the results, candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to check their UGC NET December 2023 Results on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates need to log in with their registration number and date of birth to check the result. Along with the results, the NTA will also release the UGC NET Final Answer Key 2023. 


The UGC NET December 2023 result will be compiled on the basis of the final answer key released and the option for re-evaluation and re-checking of UGC NET December 2023 result will not be available, NTA said while releasing the information bulletin.














A total of 9,45,918 candidates participated in the UGC NET December 2023 exam from 292 cities across the country. The examination took place over a span of days, from December 6 to December 14, 2023. The UGC NET December 2023 Exam was held for a total of 83 subjects.

To check the UGC NET December 2023 result, candidates can follow these steps:


Step 1: Visit the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in


Step 2: Click on the UGC NET 2023 December result link.


Step 3: Enter your credentials, including roll number and registration number.


Step 4: Submit the details.


Step 5: Download and save the UGC NET December 2023 result for future reference.














As per the UGC NET December 2023 marking scheme, each question in the exam carried two marks. Notably, there was no provision for negative marking, meaning that no marks would be deducted for incorrect responses. Additionally, questions that were left unanswered, unattempted or marked for review also did not contribute to the total marks obtained by the candidates.
