The result for National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) February 2025 exam is set to be declared by Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, today, April 12, in the afternoon. The exam, conducted on February 22, 2025, is designed to provide financial assistance to academically bright Class 8 students from economically weaker sections studying in government and government-aided schools across the state.

The exam conducted for central government-sponsored scholarship was attended by a total of 2,30,345 students, as per a report on The Hindustan Times. Once declared, candidates and parents can check the results on the official DGE website: dge.tn.gov.in.

Click on the “Results” tab.

Select the NMMS February 2025 Result link.

Enter the Roll Number and Date of Birth in the login fields.

Submit the required details and check the result.

The exam comprised two sections — the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Students had to answer 90 multiple-choice questions in 90 minutes. The exam was based on the Class 7 and Class 8 syllabus.

Candidates who qualify will receive a scholarship of Rs 12,000 per year to support their further education.

The NMMS scheme, sponsored by the Central Government, aims to reduce dropout rates and encourage students from disadvantaged communities to continue their studies through higher secondary levels.
